Kaseya Quote Manager release notes
Autotask sync
Non-recurring services now sync to quotes and tickets as charge line items instead of products. A new sync setting now controls which material code is used in this scenario.
With the recent release of the two-way services sync, services with an invalid Vendor Account in Autotask were failing to sync. A sync notification in Autotask now explains how to fix the issue.
Tax (United States)
We've improved the way we detect and display address validation issues raised by our United States tax provider to indicate when tax due cannot be calculated due to an invalid origin or delivery address.
Addresses must now pass validation in order for Kaseya Quote Manager to calculate tax. A quote or Online Store order can no longer be accepted if the delivery address cannot be validated.
To improve the accuracy of tax calculations in certain states, the default tax category applied to products in the services category has been changed as follows:
- Previous category: 81112200A1222 - Software - maintenance and support - optional, prewritten - electronic delivery (support services only)
- New category: 19005 - Services - professional services
Other improvements
- We’ve updated the VST (Australia) product importer to support its new product feed file format. Refer to VST.
- We’ve added SalesOrderID to the Quote API endpoint.
