Kaseya Quote Manager release notes
Introducing in-product notifications
The new Notifications panel alerts you of critical events that impact your open quotes and purchase orders. Refer to Viewing in-product notifications.
Sometimes, changes happen automatically that you want to take action on. With this update, Kaseya Quote Manager will continually monitor your open quotes and purchase orders and automatically provide alerts if issues are detected. These notifications will trigger in real time, and if you have switched on the electronic ordering feature (available in North America), Kaseya Quote Manager will also scan your suppliers' APIs every hour to detect stock and price changes on open quotes.
At launch, the following notifications are available:
- A quote has decreased in margin due to stock and cost price changes.
- A quote no longer has sufficient stock available.
- A quote contains a product that has been deleted.
- A purchase order failed to send to a supplier.
Warning banners
See warnings as you create, edit, or view a quote or purchase order.
The new warning banners will provide further details about notifications that have been raised, such as how much your margin has decreased on an open quote.
Other enhancements
- Cost prices on quotes are dynamic and often change daily. While Kaseya Quote Manager has always displayed the latest cost price in the quote editor, this wasn't desirable for closed quotes. Now, quotes that are either won or lost will display the cost price at the point in time that the quote was won or lost.
- We've added serial numbers to the PurchaseOrderLine and SalesOrderLine API endpoints.
- The Kaseya Quote Manager API now supports providing the API security key as a header instead of in the URI. We now recommend using the header to supply the API key.
- We've added support for Wavelink product feeds in Australia. Refer to Wavelink.
- We've improved the Autotask sync in the case that two charge items in a quote share the same title.
