Obtaining a product feed

Alloys uses a unique token for product feed URLs. Email Alloys to request a feed URL to apply to your Kaseya Quote Manager platform.

IMPORTANT  Be careful not to confuse the Alloys configuration process with the Alloy Computer Products configuration process.

Kaseya Quote Manager configuration

BEFORE YOU BEGIN  Before setting up the data import, ensure that the supplier is configured in Kaseya Quote Manager. From the left navigation menu, click Suppliers . Refer to Adding suppliers and product feeds for instructions.

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Suppliers .
  2. Search for Alloys in the Search suppliers box and click the Alloys Supplier # to open its page.
  3. In the Product feed section, click Enable feed to open the configuration page.
  4. From the Format drop-down menu, select Alloys.
  5. From the Source drop-down menu, select Http.
  6. In the http:// field, enter the URL provided by Alloys.
  7. Click Import now to immediately import and download the product feed.
  8. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Save.

NOTE  The product feed may not be available immediately after supplier configuration. The first run will take some time to complete, as many new SKUs are created.
