Automated quote reminders
NAVIGATION Left navigation menu > Settings > Quote Reminder
You can configure and activate automated quote reminders to send to organizations about quotes that are about to expire or that have not been opened or approved within a specified time frame. Implementing automated quote reminders:
-
Ensures quotes don't go unanswered leading to lost business and missed opportunities due to lack of follow up.
-
Improves the overall quote-to-order conversion rate by tracking open quotes that need attention.
There are two types of quote reminders as follows, and you can choose to activate one or both of them at the global level (in Settings > Quote Reminders) for your organization:
-
A reminder that a quote is expiring in X number of days, where X is a value between 1 and 6.
-
A reminder that a quote has not been opened or viewed in X number of days, where X is a value between 1 and 7.
After you configure and activate quote reminders for your organization at the global level, you must configure Send Reminders for each individual quote if you want to send reminders for the quote.
