Obtaining a product feed

Contact Tech Data Support to request that a Kaseya Quote Manager format Australian product feed be created and sent to your Kaseya Quote Manager email address.

IMPORTANT  Select the correct URL for your country. Product feeds are not interchangeable. United States and Canadian product feeds are not compatible with Australian customer environments.

Kaseya Quote Manager configuration

BEFORE YOU BEGIN  Before setting up the data import, ensure that the supplier is configured in Kaseya Quote Manager. From the left navigation menu, click Suppliers . Refer to Adding suppliers and product feeds for instructions.

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Suppliers .
  2. Search for Tech Data in the Search suppliers box and click the Tech Data Supplier # to open its page.
  3. In the Product feed section, click Enable feed to open the configuration page.
  4. From the Format drop-down menu, select Tech Data.
  5. From the Source drop-down menu, select Email.
  6. The sender email address (Import feed if sender email contains) field is optional. When set, Kaseya Quote Manager limits the product feed sender address to the one entered here. If the product feed email arrives from a different email address, Kaseya Quote Manager will not process it.
  7. In the email subject line (or subject contains) field, enter: Electronic Price File
  8. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Save.

NOTE  Email product feeds are processed automatically when received by the product feed mailbox of your platform. This mailbox appears on the bottom of the Product feed setup screen in the following format: [your company name]@productfeeds.kaseyaquotemanager.com

Obtaining a product feed

Email Tech Data eCommerce Support to request a product feed in the Kaseya Quote Manager format. Be sure to include the following details:

  • Your Tech Data account number
  • File name: price.zip
  • Header row: No
  • Email address: [your company name]@productfeeds.kaseyaquotemanager.com

Kaseya Quote Manager configuration

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Suppliers .
  2. Search for Tech Data in the Search suppliers box and click the Tech Data Supplier # to open its page.
  3. In the Product feed section, click Enable feed to open the configuration page.
  4. From the Format drop-down menu, select Tech Data.
  5. From the Source drop-down menu, select Email.
  6. The sender email address (Import feed if sender email contains) field is optional. When set, Kaseya Quote Manager limits the product feed sender address to the one entered here. If the product feed email arrives from a different email address, Kaseya Quote Manager will not process it.
  7. In the email subject line (or subject contains) field, enter the following text:
    For UK product feeds: Your TD SYNNEX UK Product Data file is attached.
    For Europe product feeds: Your TD SYNNEX File is Attached.
  8. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Save.
